Ana Maria Ventura

I’ve been collaborating with CE3C - PSE Group for several years. I was a researcher in the PolRura and JobToc projects on behalf of the Portuguese Rural Development Programme and for Soildarity, an H2020 project. Currently, I belong to the partnership of two H. Europe projects on behalf of Solutopus—Recursos e Desenvolvimento Lda. and am collaborating with CE3C for these purposes. We are establishing diverse partnerships for the next submissions of research proposals, nationally and internationally.

I’m a PhD student in a joint commitment of the University of Ghent and FC.UL, for Biosciences Engineering—Socioeconomics. My background is in Sociology, and I have an MSc in Territorial and Environmental Planning (FCSH-UNLisboa and FCT-UNLisboa). My research objectives are related to the social, economic, and environmental sustainability of practices in rural areas and inherent entrepreneurship.

I usually participate in diverse national and international fóruns, thematic groups, and research meetings, such as those organised by the EU CAP Network, Rural Pact, RRN, and SCAR. I’m also an evaluator for the H.Europe, WomensTech, and EIC Accelerator programmes.
