Opportunity for a PhD student to join the EU-funded project aquaPLAN, studying the combined impacts of light and noise pollution (including soil vibration) on biodiversity. Research will focus on urban aquatic macroinvertebrates and amphibians in Portugal.

The selected candidate must enrol in the Biology PhD programme at CIÊNCIAS and will be supported by a PhD grant for the first two years. Candidates should be motivated to further apply for a full PhD scholarship.
