Summary:
This project was financed by the mycologist Prof. E. B. Gareth Jones, to support the involvement of MF Caeiro and collaborators, in the preparation of detailed generic accounts of selected taxa in the family Halosphaeriaceae (a group of predominantly marine fungi), with the view of publishing a monograph.
This task has been predominantly developed with the contribution of Pedro Correia, graduated in Microbiologia Aplicada (2021) with the thesis entitled “Avaliação da diversidade de Corollospora maritima sensu lato, em isolados da costa portuguesa”.
