Ana Luísa Barros is a conservation biologist conducting research in carnivore ecology and conservation as a PhD student of the Biodiv doctoral programme, in the University of Lisbon. She is conducting the project in montado landscapes to determine the influence of management regimes on carnivore community structure, and particularly on species interactions. Part of her work is also devoted to testing new approaches and developments on methodologies to survey mammals, and carnivores in particular. This project has supervision from Prof. Margarida Santos-Reis from Faculdade de Ciências and Dr. Darryl MacKenzie from Proteus (New Zealand).
