I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Botany at the Liege University.
I am particularly interested in the biogeographical patterns and underlying ecological and evolutionary mechanisms that rule the arising of populations and species and the assembly of communities on island systems. In my ongoing postdoctoral research, I am investigating the impact of classical island syndromes on highly dispersive plants and the potential applications of this information for the conservation biology. Other research interests are forest management, climate change and biology and taxonomy of bryophytes.
