João Bernardo Barreiros

Since early age I am connected to nature and outdoor activities such as diving, either scuba or freediving, and other nautical, coastal, and inland sports. Practiced football for 15 years, from which three as a professional, spearfishing since childhood, classical piano for 11 years and more recently to wildlife photography both marine and terrestrial, developing interestsin Biology, Geology, History, among otherfields. Guide of the Natural Park of Terceira island, Azores, BSc. in Nature and Heritage from the University of the Azores, with an Erasmus program in Univ. of La Réunion, France, for one semester of the MSc on Tropical Marine Biology and an Erasmus Internship in the Univ. of the Antilles, Martinique, France, in the Aquasearch research group specializing in cetaceans. Spent the last few years working in nautical related activities such as whale watching and snorkeling and currently in the first year of a MSc in Marine Sciences in the University of Milano Bicocca.
