I am a member of the Azorean Biodiversity Group (GBA) and the Center for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes (CE3C) since 2013. I am specialized in the study of biological invasions, particularly, in the ecology and impact of introduced small and medium terrestrial mammals. Other study areas include conservation biology of aquatic macroinvertebrates and seabirds. I have experience working with camera-trapping protocols and species distribution modelling.
Currently, I am posdoc researcher in a project about publication and facilitation of biodiversity data of several taxonomic groups.
