Filipa Macedo Coutinho de Oliveira Soares

I received a Ph.D. in Macroecology from the University of Lisbon in 2022 and I continue to collaborate in the Tropical and Mediterranean Biodiversity group. The work I have been doing focuses on the impacts of bird introductions and extinctions on the taxonomic and functional diversity of oceanic islands. Currently, I'm starting a postdoc position at Centre d'Écologie et des Sciences de la Conservation in Paris, where I will be looking at conservation translocation efforts in the Western Palearctic.
