I received a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Aveiro in 2002 and I am currently working in the group HuEL of CE3C. I am a professor of Animal Physiologya and Stress Biology at the University of Lisbon. My research focuses on Ecophsysiology, Ecotoxicology, Stress Biology, and Biomarkers.
