Luís Fernando Rosa Portela Marques

Technician/Grant Researcher

Luís Marques is a research technician, specialized in Bioimaging and Image Analysis, and proficient in a number of molecular biology techniques, such as cell and tissue culture, immunochemistry and immunoblotting, and DNA/RNA analysis. He is currently tasked with providing technical support to CE3C Thematic Line 5 groups.

He is also pursuing a PhD in Developmental Biology, investigating the role of specific signaling events such as PI3K / Akt in mouse embryonic development.
Luís Marques is a member of the Coordination Committee of the FCUL Microscopy Facility (http://fculmf.campus.ciencias.ulisboa.pt/), and plays a consulting role as imaging specialist for the FCUL campus.
