I graduated in Biology at the University of Alicante, and with the aim of specialising in the field of biological control, I obtained my master’s degree at the same University. My project focused on insect-plant interactions and their application in integrated pest management of horticultural crops.
After eight years working for different companies related with mass rearing of insects I came to the University of Lisbon to work within the project COMPCON – Competition under niche construction.
Nowadays I continue working as a technician, maintaining plant and predatory mite cultures within the project: DYNAMICTRIO “Feedback between population dynamics and evolution of interactions in a tri-trophic system”.
