Javier Blasco Aróstegui
PhD StudentJavier Blasco is a Spanish scientist with a background in arachnology. Starting in 2022, he is conducting a Ph.D. in Biology and Ecology of Global Changes by the University of Lisbon starting within the CoBiG2 of CE3C. Javier is investigating the Evolution and Diversification of European scorpiofauna based on genomics, morphology and venom, under the supervision of Dr. Lorenzo Prendini (American Museum of Natural History, New York, USA) and co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Octávio Paulo (CE3C - University of Lisbon, Portugal) and Prof. Dr. Reinhard Predel (Institute for Zoology - University of Cologne, Germany).
