I did a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Culture at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Lisbon, and a postgraduate in Sustainable Human Development, at the University of Girona, Spain. Then, I moved to the United Kingdom where I worked both with community-based projects and independent retailers in sales and distribution of fresh organic produce. I also collaborated with different community gardens as part of Horticultural Therapy programs. Through the WWOOF networks (Worldwide Opportunities in Organic Farming) I have volunteered with agroecological farms in Brazil, Argentina and Chile as well as the United Kingdom.
I joined Caravana AgroEcológica in late 2019. I have been assisting with all initiatives but especially with the online radio show and the project’s communication and dissemination through social media and the website. I am also part of the Erasmus + MedCaravan team where I assist with the co-creation, development and dissemination of the project outputs - Best Practice Guide for collecting agroecological knowledge, an Online Caravan Platform and the Learning on MedAgroecology educational program.
