I am a PhD student in the Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution (BIODIV) programme of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. My main research interests concern interspecific reproductive interactions, species coexistence and molecular ecology. With my PhD, I aim to shed light on how competition for food and reproductive interference between species jointly shape their coexistence outcomes, as well as how evolving in the presence of heterospecifics can alter such interactions. To address these issues, I study different populations and species of Tetranychid spider mites under the supervision of Sara Magalhães, Flore Zélé and Vitor Sousa.
