I received a Ph.D. in Ecology and Biodiversity from the State University of São Paulo, Brazil in 2018. During my PhD, I was a visiting researcher at Rice University (Houston, USA) and University of Otago (Dunedin, New Zealand). Before joining the Evolutionary Ecology group of CE3C, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at McMaster University (ON, Canada). My research focuses on how individual variation arises in nature and how it affects the structure and functioning of populations, communities, and ecological interactions.
