Santiago Peredo
ResearcherI received a Ph.D. in Agroecology from The University of Córdoba (Spain) in 2021 and I am currently collaborating with the Evolutionary Agroecology (EA) Research Group of CE3C. I am a professor of Agroecology at the University of Santiago/Chile. My research focuses on local knowledge, endogenous development, agroecological transition. For many years I have been involved in transdisciplinary research articulating scientific knowledge with popular knowledge using as model system the participatory action research and dialogue of knowledge . I coordinate the Agroecology and Environment Group (GAMA) at the University of Santiago (Chile) and I am a Research Associate of the STAND Group (South Training Action Network of Decoloniality) at the University of Granada (Spain). My current research is driven by three overarching objectives; establish points of convergence between the different logics of knowledge generation, develop methodologies for inter-epistemic encounters and generate mechanisms for their application in different socioecological contexts
