Diana Morais is conducting a Ph.D. in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution by the University of Lisbon starting in 2024 within the Speciation Genomics group. She is conducting the project The pace of speciation under ecological and genomic constraints, under the supervision of Bruno Nevado and Ivo Chelo project aims are: to understand how population bottlenecks and ecological divergence drive the evolution of reproductive isolation.
