I received a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of Paris Est Crétail (UPEC) in 2014 and I am currently leading the Soil Lab at Mud Valley Institute (Vale da Lama farm in Algarve). I am a soil biology researcher and educator, My research focuses on soil health monitoring, soil biodiversity and compost quality. For many years I have been involved in academic research using earthworms as model soil bioindicators. My current research is driven by three overarching objectives: monitor soil health, measure compost quality, participate in citizen science project to bring soil awareness.
