I received a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of Lisbon in 2006 and I am currently working in the Plant-soil ecology group of CE3C and in the R&D company Bioscale. My research focuses microbial solutions for a sustainable agriculture based on innovative technologies that use the symbiotic partnerships established between plant and rhizosphere microbiome members.
For many years I have been involved in several research projects in Mycorrhizal ecology for soil restorations in forest Mediterranean ecosystems, and in the ecological interactions between mycorrhizal fungi and Plant growth promoting bacteria (PGPR) for agriculture application.
