Ana Paula Portela

I received a Ph.D. in Biodiversity, Genetics, and Evolution from the University of Porto in 2023 and currently work in the System Ecology group of CE3C. My research focuses on the vulnerability and resilience of ecosystems and their services to environmental changes. My main study systems have been riparian and freshwater ecosystems. Recently, I have participated in national and European projects that allowed me to expand my research and investigate the vulnerability and resilience of other systems, such as  forests. Currently, I am part of the AdaptForGrazing project, which focuses on the resilience of grazing systems in the face of climate change.
