Summary:
This pilot study aims to obtain information on the presence of antibiotic residues, antibiotic-resistant bacteria and resistance genes in two types of aquaculture farms (semi-intensive – sea bream; extensive – oysters) in the Sado estuary and to assess the corresponding impact on public health.
