I received a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of Cambridge (UK) in 2011. I am currently a researcher at the University of Lisbon and a member of the "Behavioural Ecology and Conservation" CE3C group. My research focuses on avian ecology and conservation. For many years I have been involved in understanding how global environmental changes can impact the breeding biology, migratory behaviour, habitat quality and population dynamics of birds. Current research includes (i) movement ecology and evolution of migratory behaviour, (ii) ecology and conservation of steppe birds and (iii) climate change and adaptation strategies.
