Carla José Azevedo Rego

I received a Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Lisbon in 2008 and I am currently working in Machine Learning in Ecology (MLE) group of CE3C. My research focus in gathering information on insect functional traits and building a global trait database for insects. I am also interested in the ecological mechanisms shaping species diversity in insular habitats, species interactions like pollination, herbivory and seed dispersal, red list assessments (IUCN) and science communication.
