Vasco Branco is conducting a Ph.D. in Wildlife Conservation by the University of Helsinki starting in 2020 within the Computational Ecology and Conservation. He is conducting the project Asterisk: automated assessment of species extinction risk, under the supervision of Pedro Cardoso (CE3C) and Luís Correia (DI, LASIGE). Vasco's project aims are to automate the extraction of species data from literature.
