Maílis Carrilho is conducting a Ph.D. in Biology and Ecology of Global Changes by the University of Lisbon starting in 2020 within the Ecophysiology of Small Mammals Group. She is conducting the project Consequences of releasing wild-caught species following short-term captivity: a field-lab-field approach, under the supervision of Prof. Dra. Maria da Luz Mathias (FCUL), Prof. Dra. Sophie von Merten (University of Salzburg) and Dra. Joaquim T. Tapisso (FCUL).
