Vanessa Ribeiro is conducting a Ph.D. in Byology by the University of Lisbon starting in 2024 within the MMD CE3C. She is conducting the project Dissecting the impact of LAMA2-deficiency in melanoma onset and progression, under the supervision of Prof. Dra. Ana Rita Carlos , MMD.
Vanessa Ribeiro Ph.D. project aims are: Establishment and characterization of a 3D wildtype and LAMA2-defficient melanoma models that will allow to dissect out which signaling pathways are affected by the absence of LAMA2. Explore how the secretome of LAMA2-defficient cells can modulate tumor onset and progression.
